CCTV Drain Inspections & Reports

When a drain isn't running right, a camera tells you exactly why before anyone starts digging. We survey sewer, stormwater and sink drains across the Mornington Peninsula and South East Melbourne, and give you a clear picture of what's going on and what it takes to fix it.

What we do

See inside the drain before you dig

We put a camera down the line and find out exactly why a drain is slow, blocked or backing up, without tearing up the yard to guess. You get a straight rundown of what we found and what it takes to fix it, and where you need it, a written report with photos and footage for your records, a sale or a builder.

  • In-pipe camera survey of sewer, stormwater and sink drains
  • Blockage, crack, root-intrusion and collapse detection
  • Pipe locating and depth marking above ground
  • Written report with photos and footage on request
  • Pre-purchase and pre-handover inspections

How it works

A CCTV inspection, start to finish.

No mess, no guesswork. Here's what happens from the moment you call.

1

You get in touch

Tell us what the drain's doing and where. We book a time that suits and confirm if you need a written report.

2

We access the line

We reach the drain through an existing point, an inspection opening, gully or pit, so there's nothing to dig up to get started.

3

Camera survey

We feed the camera through and record the run, locating any blockage, crack, root or collapse, plus its position and depth.

4

Findings & next steps

We talk you through what we found on the spot, and send a report with photos and footage where you've asked for one.

When to book one

Times a camera saves you money

A CCTV inspection is the cheapest way to stop guessing. It's worth doing any time you're about to spend money on a drain, or about to build over one.

  • Buying or selling a property and want the drains checked
  • A drain keeps blocking and you want to know why
  • Before you landscape, pave or build over a line
  • New-build sign-off or a builder's handover
  • Slow drains, gurgling or smells you can't trace

Frequently asked

CCTV inspection questions.

What does a CCTV drain inspection involve?

We feed a camera through the drain and record the run, so we can see blockages, cracks, root intrusion or collapsed sections without digging. You get a clear rundown of what's going on, and where needed a written report with photos and footage, plus the location and depth of the problem.

Do I get a report with the inspection?

Where you need one, yes. We can supply a written report with photos and footage for a sale, a builder or your own records. Just let us know when you book so we bring the right gear and set aside the time.

Can you find where the drain runs and how deep it is?

Yes. The camera carries a locator so we can mark the line and depth from above ground. That's useful before you dig, landscape or build over a drain.

Do I need to dig anything up for the camera?

No, that's the point of a CCTV inspection. We access the drain through an existing point such as an inspection opening, gully or pit, so there's no digging to find the fault.
